Tremendous love and nurturing goes into the care given in our nursery. The Nursery is divided into age-appropriate areas and a silent paging system is provided so that parents can place their babies in our care and attend worship with peace of mind. If your child has a special need, you will be quietly paged so that you can return to the Nursery without disruption to the worship service.
Expecting?
It’s a joy for us to share in the anticipation of a new child and to celebrate the arrival of a new baby with our families. Please let us know when you’re expecting so we can add you to our Expecting / Arrivals Board in the Nursery and share this special time with you.
Baby Dedication
Baby Dedication is a very special occasion in church life at Crossroads. It’s a time of worship, thanksgiving and commitment that we celebrate during our weekend worship services twice a year. We call it Baby Dedication, but perhaps Parent’s Commitment is a better name for what we’re celebrating. During this special service, parents dedicate their children to God and commit themselves to raising their child in a godly home. The parents commitment is affirmed by the church body, who also commit to supporting and encouraging the parents as they seek God’s will in raising their children and to nurturing and guiding the children toward spiritual maturity.
