This Weekend
What Grace Demands
One of the great fundamental misunderstandings of Christianity is understanding the operation of 'grace.' For those on the outside, it just sounds too easy. "Nice deal! All I have to do is get a personal relationship to God and then do anything I want?" Those are words that can only be spoken by someone who has not experienced radical grace. In fact, grace can be quite demanding. Grace distinguishes us from all other religions of the world. We don't operate by the principle of "I obey - therefore I am accepted by God", but by the principle of "I am accepted by God because of what Christ has done on the cross - therefore I obey". Join us next week as we explore the gift of grace and the "demands" it places upon us.
