Membership
Requirements for membership
To place membership at Crossroads, you must follow the precedents set forth in the book of Romans:- Admit that you (and everyone else) have sinned (Romans 3:23).
- Understand that the penalty for sin is death (Romans 6:23)
- Acknowledge that Jesus Christ is God's only Son and that He paid the penalty for your sins by His death on the cross (Romans 5:8, 10:9-10)
- Follow Christ through baptism by immersion into His death, burial and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4).
What is expected of members
Through membership, the church is committing to the spiritual care and development of the member. The member is committing to personal growth and participation in the life and mission of the church.
When to become a member
If you are a faithful attendee, have entered into a relationship with Jesus Christ, have been baptized by immersion, and you are ready to consider Crossroads your church home, then you are ready to place your membership.
How to become a member
You can join the church by declaring your intention at the time of your baptism. If you are already a baptized believer, you can respond to the invitation extended during each weekend worship service. If you are not able to respond during the worship service, please contact the church office to speak with a pastor or to register for the next membership class.
