Your Personal Outreach
There's no need to wait for a church program or get anyone's permission to reach outward. Jesus has already commissioned you, and you are fully empowered by Him and supported by us to go and love and serve others in His name. In whatever ways God calls your heart to reach out - go with His strength and our blessing. Go!
Church-wide Outreach Events
Crossroads conducts church-wide annual outreach events that have great evangelistic impact. These events give everyone the opportunity to reach out to others with an invitation to come and see, and to have a life-changing encounter with Jesus. You'll also have opportunities to participate in community service days, holiday outreaches and other events designed to mobilize the church to meet needs in our community.
Community Ministry Partners
In order for us to have the greatest impact, we focus our resources in local ministries that best align with our vision and values. These organizations-our Ministry Partners-are invaluable in helping us carry out our mission to provide for the needs of the poor and to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Glenwood Neighborhood Initiative
The Glenwood neighborhood is located in the south-central region of Evansville's inner city. It's a neighborhood with many challenges, but also one with a strong vision to become a model neighborhood valued for its improvements and spirit of community. In 2008, Crossroads joined with the residents of Glenwood and other public and private organizations to make that vision a reality. Over time, the project will address housing, safety, education, health and wellness, economic development and more. We are committed to Glenwood as our primary, long-term neighborhood outreach. With your help, Crossroads will provide resources, volunteers, and leadership to help the residents succeed in their goal of revitalizing and improving their neighborhood.
