Serving Connections - Making a Difference

We teach and encourage our family members to serve God by taking care of each other and serving those around us. Imagine thousands of Christ-followers living and worshipping in a community, supporting each other, and making a real difference in the lives of the hurting and under-served in their neighborhoods. It’s a beautiful vision of how the church realizes its God-given mission in the world.

Getting Started
You don’t have to have specialized training or be a Bible expert to be a part of the exciting things God is doing through the ministries at Crossroads. All it takes is a willing heart and a step of faith. Here are a few simple steps that you can take to start your journey today:

Contact usContact us and let us know when you’re ready to get started. We’ll help you and support you every step of the way.

Check out the Serving Opportunities – There are many places to serve and many ways that you can enjoy the experience of making a difference in the lives of others. The List of Serving Positions page has a listing of the many serving positions within the church. It provides the titles and descriptions of serving positions from across all of our ministries.

Explore for Yourself – Many people find a place to serve by simply contacting a ministry in which they have an interest. You are invited to “try out” as many different serving opportunities as you want to until you find the place that is just right for you. Read the weekend bulletin and watch for opportunities to help with church ministries, programs, and events. When you see one you’d like to try, go ahead and jump right in.

Whether you’re participating in a ministry inside the church or helping others in the community—you’re serving and it reflects the heart of Jesus Christ. If you need to make a serving connection—to put your passions, talents and gifts into action for the Kingdom of God—contact Connections Pastor Eric Cummings at 858-3080, ext. 383 and schedule a time to get together and discuss your unique role in the Body of Christ.
