This Coming Week In Worship
Ken returns to the pulpit with the message "The Mistakes Of Mis-Directed Love" as we continue in the sermon series "Building A Godly Family In An Ungodly World".
In both the Old and New Testaments a foundational spiritual principle is impressed to insure the strength and stability of the Godly family. That principle is that love and loyalty to God should take precedence over our love for family. God requires that our primary allegiance be to Him. The first of the 10 Commandments is, “You shall have no other gods before me.” Jesus required the same loyalty of His followers, “Whoever loves father or mother....son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”
It is not that we should love our family members less, but that we should love God/Jesus more. This divinely focused priority of our love will actually result in our families being blessed more abundantly.

Men's Breakfast - Exciting Changes
Come join us!
There are some exciting changes with Men's Ministry. Journeymen (formerly Man Alive) will meet on every Saturday from 7am until 8am. We will have a quick breakfast starting promptly at 7am. followed by a time of prayer and Bible Study. Journeymen is a time for men to encourage men...a time for Bible Study directed specificly for men.
Journeymen is about men becoming the Man Of God we are called to be...at home, at work, at church. Journey is about becoming men of integrity. Proverbs 27:17 "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." Come and get sharpened...come and sharpen others!
Journeymen will begin a study on a subject that each man, if honest with himself, has at sometime struggled with… Lust. Ed Young states that lust, “is the number one barrier that keeps men from experiencing the presence and power of God.” This 6 week study, “Just Lust” by Ed Young, will begin on April 12 from 7a-8a. Come discover the Biblical truths enabling us to have victory in our lives and experience the power and presence of God in a new refreshing way
