Pastor of Children’s Ministries
Crossroads Christian Church in Newburgh, Indiana is searching for a Pastor of Children’s Ministry. The candidate will have responsibilities for developing, coordinating and administering a comprehensive and expanding educational ministries program for children (1st through 5th grades) of the church and surrounding community. This position will also provide leadership and coordination of staff members and volunteers involved in this ministry.
The Children’s Ministry Pastor must be an individual who will be accountable to God, the elders, leadership team, and the Pastor of Student Ministries of Crossroads Christian Church. The candidate must have a passion for God, passion for children and ministering to their spiritual needs. This position requires an individual to have strong leadership skills, be team oriented, have the ability to equip and empower volunteers, be vision oriented, giving unselfishly of their time, have creative skills/talent, and a strong desire to serve.
The qualified candidate must have a belief that is in alignment with our conservative narrative of the Bible and fit into our church culture. We are located in a suburb of Evansville, Indiana and our church attendance averages 3100. We are a family friendly church and have adopted small groups as a way of discipleship. We are fast-growing, especially in our children and youth ministry and believe that they are the future of our church. We currently have a staff of 11 pastors with strong leadership in the body of our church both from our elders and our membership.
